The purpose of bridal sets?
I’m looking for a Wedding Ring. My Fiance misunderstood the difference between an Engagement Ring and a Wedding Band;so now I find myself rocking a wedding band for an engagement ring. LOL! I want to keep my wedding band/engagement ring and pair it with another ring but I cant find a perfect match. So I was wondering if I could just get 1 wedding ring with out the band. Or is it necessary for me to have both. I mean because when I see a female with one ring, I’m thinking she isn’t married. But when I see ladies wearing a band with her engagement ring that means that she is married. Do you necessarily have to have to have 2 rings one being the engagement ring and the other the band? Or can you just have one fancy ring and call that your wedding ring?

You don’t have to have both the engagement ring and the band if you don’t want to. You can use the ring you currently have during the ceremony. Or you can go together to pick your second ring, and it can look more like the traditional engagement ring if you want. That way you end up with a traditional looking set, except that they are reversed. There’s no wrong way. And no, they don’t have to be from an actual matching “set.” As long as you love the way they look together and they fit comfortably together, go for it! Good luck!
